Founded by Californian climber and surfer, Yvon Chouinard, Patagonia was born as a spin-off of Chouinard Equipment, a small shop near the Rincon surf breaks in California, who were known for making some of the world's best climbing gear.

Steeped in pure Patagonia DNA, Isthmus Parka, a timeless and versatile hooded parka was inspired by a piece made in the early 80s. For warmth, the hood and torso are lined with recycled fleece, and the sleeves are insulated with 60-g Thermogreen® 100% recycled fabric.

Length: 77cm (size medium). Our model is 186.7cm (6'1.5”) tall with a 96.5cm (38”) chest and a 81.3cm (32”) waist.

- Durable NetPlus® postconsumer recycled nylon faille made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS; sleeves are insulated with 60-g Thermogreen® recycled fabric, and the hood and torso are fleece-lined
- Three-piece adjustable, fleece-lined hood
- Two-way front zipper has an external storm flap that secures with hidden snap closures for warmth
- Twin zippered, welt chest pockets; two zippered side-entry handwarmer pockets with flaps and snaps for security
- Internal, zippered chest pocket
- Adjustable cuffs have snap-tab closures
