About AMI Men's Apparel:
Alexandre Mattiussi studied at Paris' Duperré fashion design school before honing his menswear skills at Dior, Givenchy, and Marc Jacobs. Still, he was only 30 when he launched AMI in 2011. A shorthand version of his name, the word ami of course translates to "friend" en Français—an apt description for the collection that aims to be a down-to-earth, wearable companion for every day.
